is a group of over 50 young creative operating in the field of videomaking. They work together both live and online, thanks to the Internet, and they combine their skills to make fun movies, no-profit and no-budget. From the concept creation and planning to the shootings, from editing to 3D postproduction. And they certainly prove how to get the best result for no budget.
Currently they are working on a project about the Italian front in World War I. They have completed the pre-production and the first phase of shooting, where they used our IANILEDs54, and here is what Giacomo Talamini reports about their experience with our lights:
“We found them very useful, what impressed us more was their flexibility in use. We pulled, and slipped and strung them everywhere, and used them in very harsh conditions (moisture at level of alert in dripping vaults caves), they held on! Thanks to the fact they produce so little heat and consume so little power it was possible to put them in places where we never dreamed of putting an incandescent light.
They are excellent as support lights, to enhance the details. The only two limitations I can see are :
At daylight color sets the light is great, whilst dimming downward, below the factory daylight presets, the white tends to magenta and then it’s better to use 3200°k orange gels, what’s easy to do thanks to the magnets and the lack of heat. (*)
The presence of multiple shadows does not create problems as kicklight, but of course it does not give the best as backlight. But this is an unavoidable limit in Led technology arrays.

(*) here we’d like to remind that the Ianileds electronics are designed on purpose to match the usual daylight variations from 6500°k down to 4500°k. We ourselves always suggest the users to fit CTO filters if they need to go down to 3200°k, because white LEDs give their most in the cool color temperatures, not in the warm ones. So it’s still more efficient to tune daylight and then down convert with gels, this yet gives more light output.
