Documentaria film of Valter Torri used Ianiled 54 recently to shoot a documentary in calcareous caves with stalactites and stalagmites, in a protected naturalistic area in Italy where it was impossible the access with heavy duty equipment and any generator
We discussed with Valter Torri the various aspects of such particular location in our factory long before the production started. We made some tests and Ianiled 54 looked to be the sole powerful LED fixture available for such long throwns where power supply could consist only in small batteries to wear.
No stand mount was possible too, no clamping.. Going for handheld lighting was the only chance to get the shots. The work on the field met with the expectations, giving us a fundamental feed back. We ourselves had actually feared the high humidity and the overall harsh shooting conditions, but Ianiled 54 made well its job. We thank Valter for his useful contribution to the development and improvement of our project.
Reporting the various aspects of his production Valter said “…for sure your project is very well-founded and your LED fixtures, even if there’s still a certain gap to fill with the conventional lights, are overpowering : energy saving (also doubling their power if necessary), dimmer capability and colour temperature adjustments are definitively the strong points . Additionally the 54 modularity allowed us to light focal planes at different depths in the cave, and without risking electrical shocks.
With three or four Ianiled 54 we may have fully day-lighted the hypogean ambient with several hours of duration and the power supply of just small and lightweight batteries 12V.
The IANILEDs range is available for tests in our factory or at the dealers shops on request.
